BEARTOOTH PINETUM

pi·ne·tum  /pīˈnēdəm/

noun: pinetum; plural noun: pineta

  1. a collection of pine trees or other conifers for scientific or ornamental purposes.

  2. a conifer garden within a larger garden such as an arboretum

Dwarf and intermediate conifers are small ornamental trees that provide year-long decorative value in garden landscapes. Small and miniature evergreen conifer trees or shrubs such as compact junipers, pine trees, cypress shrubs, yews, and spruce trees are easy to grow and are ideal for urban gardens. Dwarf conifers are slow-growing and will grow to about 3-5 feet after 10 years. Intermediate conifers may reach heights of only 12-15 feet.
