Plan Your Donation

It's always best to plan ahead when making any donation. The Yellowstone Arboretum suggests you look at all options to see if there is one that suits fits your needs. The Arboretum and ZooMontana is a non-profit volunteer organization to any contribution may have tax benefits as well. Contact the ZooMontana office at (406) 652-8100 for more information.

 

Recognition

Past tribute and memorial gift donors and honorees are listed on the Yellowstone Arboretum website with locations. We are currently updating 20 years of information so if we have missed your past donation please feel to contact us at the ZooMontana office. Gifts are acknowledged with a letter to the individual or family, with no reference to gift amount.  All gifts are fully tax deductible.

 

Trees

Celebrate the life of someone special with a tree dedication. The Arboretum’s collection of trees has served as a source of natural beauty and inspiration for decades. A donation of $500 or more will provide for the dedication of a tree from our either our existing collections or new tree of your choice. This ensures the Arboretum’s continued growth for future generations. New trees can be selected depending on planting schedule. Some species may not be recommended. Your tree dedication includes a personalized recognition plaque for the natural life of the tree. For assistance in selecting a tree, please call the ZooMontana office at (406) 652-8100.

Benches

A bench dedication offers a wonderful relaxation to rest and reflect while enjoying the beautiful Arboretum grounds. A donor can work with the Zoo staff to find a suitable location for a tribute bench. Each bench should be expected to last 25 years. It includes an attached  plaque engraved with words of your choice within specifications. For information about available bench locations, please call the ZooMontana office at (406) 652-8100.

 

Memorial Funds

The Arboretum could be designated to receive donations in lieu of flowers as part of any family or loved one memorial service.  All donors will receive a  card from the Arboretum acknowledging their gift. A list of donors may be mailed to the family if requested, without reference to amount, notifying them of contributions made in memory of their loved one. Tribute Gifts

A donation to the Arboretum is a unique and thoughtful way to mark any special occasion. Commemorate a wedding, birthday, anniversary, or loved one by making a gift in their honor to the Arboretum. Gifts can be made for any amount. Please specify in the notes section who the gift is in honor of.

 

Estate Gifts

By naming the Arboretum or Botanical Society as a beneficiary in your estate plans through a will, trust, or retirement plans,  you help sustain the gardens for future generations.
